PRESS RELEASE
September 2005 For Immediate Release
FormFactor
INSTALLS WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Software.
Santa Barbara Analysis, the developers of WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Software, today
announced the installation of WIPtrac at FormFactor's Advanced Development Lab.
FormFactor, based in Livermore, CA, is the industry leader in high-performance semiconductor
wafer probe cards. The company’s products are based on its proprietary technologies which
enable FormFactor to produce wafer probe cards for test applications that require reliability,
speed, precision and signal integrity.
FormFactor maintains their edge with a healthy injection of Research and Development and have
chosen WIPtrac to facilitate those efforts. "In the end analysis it was WIPtrac's extreme
flexibility, ease of use and ease of installation that drove the decision to use WIPtrac instead
of using their internal Promis manufacturing systems." according to Daniel Clark, Director of
Communications at Santa Barbara Analysis. "There own internal company requirements had them
looking at multiple internal and external systems but in the end WIPtrac was the clear choice
for extreme manufacturing tracking."
ABOUT WIPtrac:

WIPtrac's Primary Features Are:
80% of the Functionality, at
20% of the Price and is
200% easier to configure and use than typical HighEnd MES Systems.
WIPtrac offers:
High Levels of Traceability
Instant WIP Work In Process Reporting
Detailed Configuration Options
High Levels of Flexibility
. . . coupled with
Capacity for Rigid Factory Controls
Statistical Process/Quality Control Integration
On-Line Manufacturing Drawings
