SemiSouth Laboratories & Mississippi State University
INSTALLS WIPtrac
MES Shop Floor Control Software.
Santa Barbara Analysis, the developers of WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Software, today
announced signing an agreement with Mississippi State University and SemiSouth Laboratories
for the installation of WIPtrac MES Software. SemiSouth is a leading developer and
manufacturer of silicon carbide electronics and electronic material (epitaxy),
based in Starkville, MS (USA). Silicon Carbide (SiC) is a high-power, high-temperature,
high-frequency robust semiconductor being developed and brought to commercial/defense
markets for new applications in radar, power conversion, and space.
Daniel Clark, Director of Communications for Santa Barbara Analysis was quoted as
saying, "This is becoming a typical install for WIPtrac, going into a laboratory situation where
engineering content is very high and ease of install and configuration is important. It looks like
one experienced person is going to be the principal configurator and it is expected to take
approximately 60 days to complete."
ABOUT WIPtrac:

20% of the Price and is
200% easier to configure and use than typical HighEnd MES Systems.
WIPtrac offers:
High Levels of Traceability
Instant WIP Work In Process Reporting
Detailed Configuration Options
High Levels of Flexibility
. . . coupled with
Capacity for Rigid Factory Controls
Statistical Process/Quality Control Integration
