Installs
WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Software.

Santa Barbara Analysis, the developers of WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Software, announced the installation of WIPtrac at Siimpel Corporation. It is to be used in the manufacture of their products at their Arcadia, California facility.

Siimpel specializes in Integrated Optical MicroSystems with expertise in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), optics, electro-optical design, image sensors, packaging and camera electronics.

The increased performance and functionality expectations of imaging systems in phone handsets, laptops, PDAs and micro-cameras has created a global demand for low cost micro-scale imaging systems. Siimpel is actively collaborating with the world's leading consumer electronics, mobile communications and digital imaging leaders to deliver high quality digital camera products that fit the size constraints of mobile platforms.
